The Miss Washtenaw County Scholarship Program is a closed local pageant in the Miss America Opportunity and Miss Michigan Scholarship Program. Contestants are required to follow all of the rules and regulations set forth by MAO and 2026 Agreement for Delegate and Titleholder Participation. All local pageants crowning now until the state pageant are Cycle Year 2026, CY 2026. This means that you are competing for the title of Miss America 2026.
AGE The eligible age range for any Miss Applicant in MAO leading to the 2025 Miss Michigan Pageant is between the ages of 18-28. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age and no older than 27 years of age on the first day of state competition. For Michigan, that date is June 16, 2025. Applicant must provide proof of age in one of the following forms:Certified Birth Certificate, Valid Driver’s License or Learner Permit,Valid State ID, or Passport.
Miss Washtenaw County is a closed local pageant and a part of the Miss America Opportunity. An applicant for Miss Washtenaw County is a resident, student, OR employee of Washtenaw or Livingston Counties. Each category is described in detail. Please read carefully. You must submit the required documentation as listed in the MAO Application and Agreement for Delegates and Titleholder Participation.
RESIDENT Delegate Applicant is a legal resident of Washtenaw or Livingston Counties and has been for a minimum of 120 days preceding the first day of the local pageant date. For our next pageant that date is June 8, 2024. Delegate Applicant must provide a copy of a current driver’s license as well as one of the following: Current voter registration card Current lease in Delegate Applicant’s name for housing Current utility bill in Delegate Applicant’s name for address within local area Current vehicle registration in Delegate Applicant’s name Federal student loan correspondence or notices on which Applicant is named primary or secondary in the applicable State. If Delegate Applicant is not a licensed driver she must present two forms of proof of residency as listed above.
STUDENT Delegate Applicant is a full time student, as determined by accredited school, college, or university within Washtenaw or Livingston Counties by the first day of the local competition, 9/8/2024. Proof of current full-time student status is in the form of a copy of an official certified transcript or certification by the school registrar of enrollment.
EMPLOYEE Delegate Applicant is employed full time in Washtenaw or Livingston Counties and has been for a minimum of120 days immediately preceding the local pageant date. Full time employee is described as an average of no less than 40 hours per week for a single employer. Such employment must be verified with MAO application/agreement by the Delegate Applicant’s one employer declaring such status in writing. Also accepted as proof of employment are copies of the Delegate Applicant pay stubs, W-2 forms, income tax filing, or other relevant documentation with financial information blacked out.
MISS AMERICA ORGANIZATION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS MAO Registration Throughout the registration process please make sure that you are registering for CY2026.
Applicants must join and pay a one time fee of $39.99.
Go to http://missamerica.org Click on The Competition and then Registration. Continue to follow the prompts to complete the process. This is due before our orientation. It is a one time registration fee per cycle year. If you have already competed in another local competition you do not need to register again.
Miss America 2026 Go Red for Women Contest & Fundraiser For each local pageant you are participating in you must participate in the partnership with the American Heart Association by donating a minimum of $30.
