The Miss Washtenaw County Scholarship Program is a closed local pageant in the Miss America Organization and the Miss Michigan Scholarship Program. Candidates are required to follow all of the rules and regulations set forth by MAO and MMSP. AGE Candidates must be at least 19 years of age and no older than 26 years of age as of December 31, 2023.
An eligible candidate for Miss Washtenaw County is a resident, student, OR employee of Washtenaw or Livingston Counties. Each category is described in detail. Please read carefully. You must submit the required documentation that verifies that you have met that eligibility criteria.
RESIDENT Candidate is a resident of Washtenaw or Livingston Counties and has been for a minimum of 30 days preceding the pageant date.
STUDENT Candidate is a full time student (12 credit hours minimum for undergrad students) within Washtenaw or Livingston Counties.
EMPLOYEE Candidate is employed full time in Washtenaw or Livingston Counties and has been for a minimum of 60 days preceding the pageant date. MISS AMERICA ORGANIZATION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Miss America has launched a new entry fee requirement for all local, state and national candidates. This fee goes into the Miss America Foundation and is used to fund scholarships at all levels in the Miss America Organization. All candidates competing in Local Competitions must pay a $35 annual registration fee. If you have competed in another MAO local pageant in 2023 cycle you do not need to pay this again. Candidates must pay a $75 entry fee for each local pageant you compete in. Once the MWCSP receives your application you will receive specific information on how to register and submit your payment.
