Please arrive early and be ready to begin at the scheduled rehearsal times. Scheduling conflicts must be addressed with the Executive Director in advance. Family and friends are not allowed to watch rehearsals.
MOCK INTERVIEWS 9/25 2-5:30pm
Chelsea Community Hospital Private Dining Rooms
To help you prepare for your private interview we will have one afternoon of mock interview appointments. The interviews are optional, but refer to the contestant calendar for required deadlines. Sign up sheets will be provided at orientation. Each contestant will be introduced and have a timed interview in the same format that will be followed on pageant day. Following the interview the judges will critique the interview with the contestant. If you are unable to attend a scheduled interview, please allow minimum 24 hours cancellation notice.
REHEARSAL 10/9 12-5pm

The Judges Chairperson will be here to collect all of the judge’s paperwork. This rehearsal is the final deadline for all paperwork. Contestants will learn all production numbers and walk patterns. Following the rehearsal we will be hosting our princess party. This is a fun afternoon filled with make-up and styling tips, make-overs, refreshments, and an opportunity to be a mentor our princesses that will be performing at the Miss Washtenaw Pageant.

If desired contestants should bring a sack lunch. Small snacks and beverages will be provided.
Production Requirements

Music for talent competition is due on September 25th. CD’s will not be accepted past this date. NO EXCEPTIONS. The contestant is responsible for making the desired cuts to her music. The time limit for the talent competition is ninety seconds. The CD that you turn is must be of competition quality. Talent CD’s may not be enhanced. Example: If you play the violin you may not have your performance part on the CD. If you find that you are having problems please consult with the producer prior to the deadline.
