Welcome to the Miss Washtenaw County Pageant family and congratulations on taking your first step towards the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2021! We will be presenting our annual pageant at the Washington Street Education Center on Saturday October 12, 2019 at 6:30 PM, and are excited that you want to be a part of it!

The webpage includes all of the forms that you will need as a contestant, as well as information to help you as you prepare for competition. Eligibility Miss Washtenaw County's Outstanding Teen is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Michigan's Outstanding Teen Pageant to be held in June 2020. MWCOT is open to teens ages 12-17 (must be 13 by the first day of competition for Miss Michigan’s Outstanding Teen in June 2019) who are not eligible to compete in the Miss Division* and reside in Michigan. To enter, there is a $100 entry fee, payable to Miss Washtenaw County Scholarship Program. *Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Contestants:
Must be at least thirteen (13) years of age on the first day of the State Competition in which she competes; and
Must not be older than seventeen (17) years of age as of July 31st in the calendar year of the State Competition in which she competes, unless she is 18 years old and has not graduated from high school as of July 31st in the calendar year of the State Competition in which she competes.
For the avoidance of doubt, 13 to 17 year old high-school graduates, as well as 18 year old non-graduates as of July 31st, must compete at MAOTeen level.

We will be accepting applications with completed paperwork for MWCOT 2019 until September 20, 2019. Material MUST be mailed via physical mail. No e-mailed materials will be allowed, unless noted in the welcome letter. Talent will be registered on a first come, first served basis
September 20, 2019 - Applications, headshot, and entry fee due *** All paperwork due if you are NOT able to attend orientation on September 29 September 29, 2019 - talent music/platform statement/platform resume/official MAOT local contract due * Orientation and rehearsal 2-4:30 PM (Not mandatory, but STRONGLY encouraged!)
